Your sourdough bread-making journey starts here!
During this practical course you will learn the fundamentals of making nutritious and healthy sourdough loaves and gain practical knowledge of the making process from start to finish including troubleshooting. You will gain an understanding of how to create, maintain and use a sourdough starter, learn what to look out for in shop bought loaves’ labelling, and grasp the concept of slow fermentation and its influence on gluten and yeast digestibility. At the end of the day you will take home a freshly baked loaf as well as a sourdough dough to bake at yours.
On the plus side, you will go home with some dry and fresh sourdough ferment, a banneton of your choice, a bread scoring tool and a scraper to get you started at home. Homemade pastries, coffee & tea included.
