Our crunchy walnut bread is made by combining organic white wheat flour and organic stoneground dark rye flours. We add chunky walnut pieces to the mix with a splash of water, some fresh yeast and a pinch of salt.
As our dough stays in the fridge for a minimum of eight hours to develop its flavour, the colour changes slightly by absorbing the walnut skin.
If you are not allergic to nuts I would definitely recommend it!
We are very careful when making walnut bread to always clean all our worktop surfaces, utensils and accessories to avoid cross contamination to other manufactured products.
