Fresh Dough runs door to door weekend deliveries in Crowborough, Eridge and Tunbridge Wells area. We also supply farm shops and cafes such as Groombridge farm shop, Gill Wing farm shop and Highgate nursery cafe. You can find our products at Crowborough and Etchingham farmer markets (4th and 2nd Sat of the month). We are now also very proud to be supplying BUY THE WEIGHT. It is a new zero waste shop in Ticehurst!
Fresh Dough Ltd is Laura's from-home micro bakery, serving farm shops, cafés and the community around Crowborough as well as providing training for aspiring or experienced home bakers. Laura's specialties include Croissants and Pain au chocolat, Sourdough loaves and specialty breads such as olive, walnuts and brioche. She loves experimenting and the range of product will change regularly with the seasons and experimentations!

LAURA'S JOURNEY TO BAKING
Based in Crowborough, Fresh Dough Ltd is a home-based microbakery producing organic handmade pastries and breads on demand.
Trained as a dancer and choreographer, I have swapped my ballet shoes for bannetons.
Since July 2016, I have grown my love of bread-making from' Hobby to Business' selling to farm shops, catering suppliers, cafes, individual customers and farmer markets.
My favourite bread is a white seeded sourdough loaf . With its crunchy crust and elastic crumb it is rich in texture. My homemade ferment is 4 years old and gives it a lovely flavour with a hint of sourness. And the five seeds blend keeps moisture in the bread a day longer!
I only use high quality ingredients to make my products. Meaning: no extra ingredients for the sake of it, no preservatives, no enhancers, no fuss. Skills and time are my essential ingredients!
My flour is organic and ideally stoneground from Shipton Mill.
I used free range eggs from Gill Wing farm shop and never substitute butter for my pastries.

Thank you so much for the delivery this morning. The pastries were truly scumptious. The best croissants and pain au chocolat ever! A real treat! We were going to save the pain au chocolat for later but couldn't resits! Looking forward to sampling the bread and shortbread later.
Best wholemeal I have tasted, and my 90 year old neighbour loves it too!
I have found in the past that wholemeal bread gives me indigestion, but not with your bread, meaning I can fully enjoy its wonderful flavour and moist texture. Good fresh or toasted.
